Leadership – with 3 leadership scenarios

This lesson examines the factors that help a leader achieve the right balance between efficiency and trust.

You will see where poor leaders often fail and investigate what non-technical elements can help inspire and motivate people. The focus is for your students to understand the types of behaviour that characterize good leadership and why.

The lesson plan offers three leadership scenarios, including video clips, that your students must assess according to the leader’s impact in each scenario. Each scenario opens up a discussion on how the leader might improve.

Finally, the lesson incorporates a model where students will gain an understanding of the ideal leader and the risks associated with various leadership approaches.
