About the course

Our Refresher courses provides updated knowledge on CRM principles and procedures, lessons learned, and new methodologies within the aviation industry. 

To make it as easy as possible for you to stay compliant, we ensure that you will be taken through all the mandatory topics described below and other relevant topics in exciting, new, thought-provoking ways.

What is the difference between a 1-day and a 3-day CRM trainer refresher course?

As the 3-day CRMT refresher expands over more days, we can go much more in-depth with the different topics. The materials we deliver on a three-day course are much more extensive, and often our participants greatly appreciate that they have the time and opportunity to follow each topic into numerous ways of dealing with that specific content subject. 

Our 3-day refresher includes the complete manual and lesson plans covering all CRM topics. Our 1-day includes four selected lesson plans with related PowerPoints and handouts delivered digitally upon course completion.

What are the EASA requirements for Crew Resource Management trainers?

In 2022 EASA updated their policy on what it requires to be a flight crew CRM trainer. NaviMinds naturally complies with all the latest requirements:

“(1) The operator should evaluate the experience and knowledge of the flight crew CRM trainer. The evaluation of the operator should include at least: 

 (i) The operational experience of the flight crew CRM trainer as a flight crew member; 

 (ii) Whether this experience as a flight crew member or a former flight crew member covers the aircraft category, the aircraft generation and the form of operations, as relevant to the operator.” 

 – EASA AMC2.ORO.FC.146 

We ensure these qualifications are met to make it as easy for you as possible to stay compliant. Certified and experienced former or current flight crew members are “lead” trainers on all our CRMT/CRMI courses.

According to EASA, anyone who wants to become a CRM trainer must have completed a Human Performance and Limitations (HPL) course.

If you already hold a CRMT certificate but have not completed an HPL course, you can get compliant with our 1-day HPL course.

Anne also served as a Simulator Flight Instructor and was Captain on the 737 fleet at Primera Air A/S. She also held the positions of Deputy Safety Officer and Chief of Human Factors Training.
