NaviMinds was founded in 2012 with a mission to create immersive and impactful learning experiences that go beyond what traditional CRM and human factors training providers offer. From the beginning, we have been dedicated to designing innovative group exercises, lessons, and programs that inspire curiosity and deliver meaningful results.
Our CEO and co-founder, Anne Sølvsteen, has been involved in aviation for over 30 years. Her journey started as a cabin crew member and progressed to a successful career as a pilot and captain on the Boeing 737. Her firsthand experience in aviation ignited a deep interest in the transformative potential of effective Crew Resource Management training. This passion is central to NaviMinds’ approach, ensuring that our programs not only meet but exceed industry expectations.
One significant area where NaviMinds differ substantially from other training providers of Human Factors and Crew Resource Management training is our approach to experiential learning.
We believe that humans learn not exclusively from theory nor from what we lectured or read. Instead, we largely learn from our experiences. Perhaps specially when talking about attitudinal, behavioral and cultural aspects – all at the core of Human Factors training.
A training course and material developed by NaviMinds will not only include the more well-known theoretical aspects but will be complemented by several engaging, experiential learning activities.
These are exclusive to NaviMinds and a fundamental part of our concept for creating reflection, essential to leave lasting impressions and achieve the desired personal and cultural changes over time.
